MACMA Selangor 8th Annual General Meeting 2012

Salam alayk dear bothers and sisters,

MACMA Selangor holds a General Meeting annually but the election of committee happens only once in two years. And the meeting this year will be one of those meeting where members are invited to elect a new board of committee members.
So come join us, voice out your opinions, maintain or elect a new committee member.

The details of the AGM are as follows:

Time : 8.30 am (registration) 9.30 pagi (meeting starts) – 12.00noon
Venue: Masjid Al Khairiyah Taman Seri Gombak, Selangor

1. Speech by Chairperson
2. Quran Recitation
3. Speech by MACMA Selangor Chairman
4. Presentation and Verification of the 2011 7th Annual General Meeting minutes
5. Presentation of MACMA Selangor 2012 activities by the Secretary
6. Presentation and Verification of the accounts by the Treasurer
7. The Dissolution of the 2011/2012 Committee Board
8. The Election of the new 2012/2013 Committee Board
9. Minutes / Matters Arising. Dissolution of meeting.



The participation and attendance of members are highly anticipated.
Interested individuals who would like to join and become member are also welcome.

As this year is the election year for a new committee, MACMA SELANGOR also hereby calls upon members to come forward to render their voluntary services in order to help our fellow Chinese Muslims, many of whom still need our support morally, spiritually as well as assistance with our Muslim faith that we have chosen to be the guidance in our lives.
Let’s volunteer yourself as a committee member.

Please arrive earlier to allow some time for the registration and so that the meeting can start promptly at 9.30am and end no later by 12 noon.

After the AGM, there is an interesting Mandarin forum going on in Petaling Jaya, titled “HUDUD LAW: A CONCERN FOR THE NON-MUSLIMS”

Our committee member Haji Kamal Koh will will speak on his personal capacity in the forum.
The forum will discuss about:

• What is the Impact upon Public Norms / Cultures When Hudud Law Comes into Effect?
