There will be talks and also health checks for parents. Food sampling and simple food will be served. A token charge of RM10 per person. For individual and a parent : RM20 , if individual and parents RM30.

This year around, the camp was in Kem Idaman Nurani, Hulu Langat.
Each participant paid RM40 and the rest of the expenses were sponsored by MACMA Selangor, Majlis Agama Islam Selangor and ADUN Kajang; YB Lee.
Altogether, there were 39 youths aged 9-18 y.o and 6 facilitators comprising of 2 SPM leavers and 4 medical students joining the camp.
The activities done were:
1) Telematch
2) Talk: "Our Role as Khalifah"
3) Talk: "Heroes of The World"
4) Jungle Trekking
5) Obstacle Course
6) Cultural Night
7) Movie Show and Discussion; "Children of Heaven"
8 ) Treasure Hunt.
There were 23 boys and 16 girls and they were divided into 5 groups.

2011 Chinese New Year Celebration
Assalammualaikum brothers and sisters.
We apologise for this late update, we are always in a race against time.
On CNY's eve (2nd Feb 2011), MACMA Selangor hosted a Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner in Restoran Haji Sharin Low, Bukit Antarabangsa.
The dinner was attended by MACMA members and families, and Darul Fitrah's members and families too.
It was a very pleasant night, with superb course meals by Restoran Haji Sharin Low.

Breaking Fast Ceremony 2010/1431H
Assalammualaikum dear brothers and sisters.
During the fasting month this year, MACMA Selangor had organised two separate breaking fast ceremonies in two different mosques in Selangor.
The first was in Masjid Jame' Kajang, Kajang on 22nd August 2010. The event was participated by almost 100 of new and old MACMA Selangor members.
After registration of new members, and renewal of memberships, there was a donation giving ceremony where MACMa passed the Ramadhan donations to the needy MACMA Selangor members.
The second breaking fast ceremony was held on 29th August 2010 in Masjid Al-Khairiyah, Sri Gombak. The event started with registration and membership renewal, which were then followed with a simple gathering in the mosque where members were introduced to each other, together with their family members.

Remember Gaza -from Viva Palestina
Statement from Viva Palestina (formerly known as COMPLETE Malaysia)
December 27th - January 18th marks the first anniversary of the unspeakable brutality committed by the Zionist regime of Israel against the people of Gaza. For over 22 days, Israel dropped bombs, white phosphorous, used airplanes, helicopters, navy ships, tanks, bulldozers and heavily armed soldiers against a defenseless people.
1,400 dead, 5,000 injured, 20,000 homeless & 50,000 displaced. Schools, hospitals, universities, ministries, homes, shops - nothing was spared. The people of Gaza were simply bombed to death.
All around the world civil societies are marking the first anniversary of this cowardly and genocidal crime and Viva Palestina Malaysia (formerly COMPLETE) calls on all Malaysians to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people by doing the following:
1. Display the Palestinian scarf on 27th December everywhere you go. Drape it around yourself, tie it to your bag, display it in your car. Just let it be seen.
2. Boycott the following companies, supporters of the Zionist regime of Israel, from 27th December to 18th January - Nestle, McDonald’s, Coke and Loreal. Do not buy any of their products!
3. Put up Boycott Israel car stickers, available for free. They can be collected from 6, SS1/24A, Kampung Tunku, Petaling Jaya. Or call Jemaimah at 013 231 4596
4. Observe one minute of silence at exactly 12 noon on 27th December. Turn this silence into a deafening roar against the injustice suffered by the Palestinians.
It is highly encouraged that you get together with family and friends on 27th December. Do take pictures and videos of your activities and email them to complete2009@gmail.com. We will be posting them on our website and Facebook. Viva Palestina Malaysia members and volunteers will be at the open court of Mid Valley Shopping Mall at 11 am on 27th December. Do join us.
Gaza is still under a blockade. The attack gave the Palestinian struggle a global dimension and civil societies all around the world are stepping in to bring about a change. In the words of Abraham Joshua Heschel,

PROGRAM KEFAHAMAN ISLAM DAN DAURAH AL QURAN REMAJA JAIS BERSAMA PERSATUAN CINA MUSLIM
AL QURAN CAMP
Dimaklumkan bahawa MACMA Selangor menyahut usaha JAIS untuk mengadakan program di atas dan akan menjalankan program ini mengikut ketetapan seperti maklumat berikut :
Tarikh : 30 Dis – 24 Dis 2009 (4 minggu)
Tempat : Pejabat MACMA
Peringkat Umur : Remaja 10 – 16 tahun
Yuran : RM100 untuk tidak tinggal
: RM250 untuk tinggal
Objektif program:
1. Meningkatkan kesedaran golongan remaja untuk mendalami ilmu Al Quran
2. Memberi bimbingan secara teori dan praktikal membaca Al Quran yang betul.
3. Mendekatkan remaja mendalami ilmu-ilmu yang berkaitan Al Quran.
Penyertaan:
1. Remaja umur 10-16 tahun lelaki dan perempuan
2. Kehadiran 90% akan diberi sijil
3. Mengikuti Qiamulail sekali sepanjang program.
4. Berpakaian menutup aurat dan sopan
5. Setiap pelajar diwajibkan mengikuti ujian pada akhir minggu.
6. Pelajar yang tinggal dibenarkan pulang pada hujung minggu
Ibu bapa/ penjaga yang berminat sila mendapatkan borang daripada MACMA Selangor.

Malaysian Chinese Muslim Association is happy to invite Chinese speaking teenagers to join a Al Quran Camp. The study module is based on that provided by Islamic Department of Selangor, who is jointly supporting this program.
Particulars of camp are as follow:
Name of camp: AL QURAN CAMP
Venue: MACMA Selangor
Date: 30 Nov 2009 to 24 Dec 2009 (4 weeks)
Date of registration: 29 Nov 2009 , 5.00 pm
No. of places: 20 pax
Age range: 10 – 16 years
Participation fee:
Students (stay in) - RM250.00
Students (daily) - RM100.00
Objectives of the camp:
1. To study common verses in the Holy Quran -
a. Yassin
b. Hafazan
c. Asmaulhusna
d. Solat practice
e. Toharah/ ablution
f. Zikir
g. Akhlak
2. To encourage Chinese Muslims teenagers to meet each other
3. To provide another medium of language to learn the Al Quran.

马来西亚华人穆斯林协会非常荣幸邀请本地华人学生参加古兰经生活营。 此次活动的学习模式是根据-赞助我们的雪莱莪伊斯兰部门-所提供的。

• 活动名称： 古兰经生活营
• 地点：马来西亚华人穆斯林协会雪莱莪分部
• 时间： 2009年11月30日到2009年12 月24日（4周）
• 报名时间： 2009 年11月29日， 下午5：00点
• 参加人数： 20 名
• 参加者的年龄： 10 – 16 岁
• 参加费用：
• 本地要住宿的学生 - 250.00马币
• 本地不住宿的学生 - 100.00 马币
若安拉意欲， 我们将会有10 位来自中国的学生一起参与此次活动。
活动目的：
1. 学习常用的古兰经章节、赞主赞圣等
a. 雅辛章
b. 背诵
c. 安拉99个尊名
d. 礼拜实践

g. 道德品行
2. 鼓励华人和中国穆斯林学生相互认识和了解。
3. 使用华语做媒介来教授古兰经

WE ARE PLEASED TO INFORM THAT WE ARE NOW OPERATING A LOT IN SAPURA HOLDINGS CANTEEN, AT MINES RESORT CITY.
CHINESE MUSLIM FOOD ARE SERVED THERE.
WE ARE ALSO PELASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE ALSO NOW OPEN A RESTAURANT AT 13 ¼ MILE, JALAN CHERAS KAJANG SINCE NOVEMBER 2009.
OUR SPECIALTY IS LAH MIEN FROM CHINA.
WE HOPE WELL WISHERS TO COME TO OUR RESTAURANT AND SUPPORT MACMA SELANGOR.

Report on MACMA Selangor Family Day
MACMA SELANGOR FAMILY DAY 2009
Saturday, 17 Oct 2009.
MACMA Selangor held its first Family Day last Saturday at Agro Lodge, Malaysian Agricultural Park in Shah Alam. This function coincides with the PROGRAM RAMAH MESRA DAKWAH DAN SANTAI CINA MUSLIM SELANGOR of Global Dakwah Unit of Majlis Agama Islam Selangor (MAIS).
Among the activities held were telematches for the whole family, Guess the correct number of sweets, colouring contest for kids and dance performances by the games organizers. The participants were treated to Chinese Muslim food catered by Mohd. Chan’s Restaurant and lah mien prepared by three imams from China.
About 150 people comprising of Chinese Muslims and their non-Muslim friends and family members attended this function. Also present were Mr. Lim Sze Teck from Hokkien Association Klang and his friend. MACMA also appreciated the attendance of YAD Dato’ Seri Indah Diraja Hj Abu Bakar b. Hj Abdul Hamid, Orang Besar Daerah Petaling and his wife, Siti Aishah Abdullah. He was welcomed by MACMA Selangor chairman Bro. Danial Hakim Boey dan head of Global Dakwah Unit MAIS, Ustadz Makhi b. Adnan.
According to the secretary of MACMA Selangor, Nor Alina Ong, this program is an opportunity for Chinese Muslims to meet fellow Muslims and support each other. It helps them to share experiences and form a strong Islamic support group for each other, especially to help those who have yet to be accepted by their family when they embraced Islam. Nor Alina Ong states that many Chinese Muslims want to retain their Chinese culture and identity when they revert to Islam and they need each other in order to do so. Such gatherings should be held more often.
